Since I was a little girl, I dreamt of performing. I always admired the art and glamour of old Hollywood. Especially, the ladies who danced with the big bands, wearing sequence and fringe.

I am Sapphire Ivy

Based out of Tennessee Tri-Cities, with over 6 years of performing arts experience, I fell in love with the art of burlesque performance after attending Gem Brulee’s School of Burlesque. I am now a member of the Black Shawl Cabaret Troupe in Bristol, TN.

The art of tease allows me to create and share expression with surprise. I perform in shows with my troupe and local productions, along with performing in out of state shows and festivals, like What The Funk Festival 2023, which is an all Bipoc cast festival based in Seattle, Washington produced by Puckduction in association with Stay Up Late Show.

My performance style ranges from classic burlesque to I love a theme challenge. Creating and performing acts with a surprise, is my cup of tea. I enjoy hearing the audience’s “Ooo’s” and “Aw’s”. I must say when the dollars hit me or the stage after a reveal, it really makes my tassels twirl. I truly enjoy getting on stage and bringing crowds together with sparkle and shine.
